About

I received my Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I completed my doctoral internship at 3-C Family Services where I continued to work as a psychologist for 10 years. I primarily work with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, suicidal thoughts and self-harm. I offer evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP). I completed intensive training in DBT through Behavioral Tech, LLC and am an active member of a DBT consultation team. I am currently in training to provide a new therapeutic approach called The Unified Protocol (UP).
